This privacy policy explains how Jason Parker Coaching Ltd collects, uses, stores and protects personal information when you visit my website, download a resource, enquire about coaching or become a client.

2. What Information Do I Collect?

Depending on how you interact with my business, I may collect:

  • Your name, email address and contact details.
  • Your Instagram handle and messages you send through social media.
  • Information submitted through coaching applications, including goals, challenges, previous attempts, motivation, readiness to start and coaching budget expectations.
  • Details provided when booking a consultation.
  • Your name and email address when requesting free resources or subscribing to emails.
  • Training, nutrition, progress and other information needed to deliver personalised coaching.
  • Payment and transaction records.
  • Website usage information, such as pages visited, device details and information collected through cookies or analytics tools.

Where coaching requires information about medical conditions, injuries or other health matters, I will explain why it is needed and identify an appropriate legal basis and additional data-protection condition before processing it.

3. How and Why Do I Use Your Information?

I use personal information to:

  • Review coaching applications and respond to enquiries.
  • Arrange consultations and discuss whether coaching is suitable.
  • Create and deliver personalised coaching programmes.
  • Monitor progress and provide ongoing support.
  • Deliver free resources you've requested.
  • Send relevant marketing emails where permitted by law.
  • Maintain business records and meet legal obligations.
  • Maintain website security and understand how my website is used.

The lawful basis depends on the purpose. It may be taking steps before entering into a contract, fulfilling a coaching contract, complying with a legal obligation, pursuing legitimate business interests or obtaining your consent.

Where I rely on legitimate interests, these include responding to enquiries, managing client relationships, preventing misuse of my services and improving my business, while considering your rights and expectations.

4. Coaching Applications and Email Marketing

Submitting a coaching application allows me to review your enquiry and contact you about the coaching you've asked about.

Submitting an application does not automatically subscribe you to my marketing emails.

If you separately subscribe to my email list or request a resource, I may use your information to deliver it and send further emails where I have the necessary permission or another lawful basis permitted by the electronic marketing rules.

Marketing emails include an unsubscribe option. You can also ask to stop receiving them by emailing me.

5. Who Do I Share Information With?

I use trusted service providers to operate my business. Depending on the service you use, these may include:

  • Leadpages — website hosting, forms and application submissions.
  • Google Workspace — email, spreadsheets and business record storage.
  • AWeber — email communications and resource delivery.
  • Calendly — consultation scheduling.
  • ManyChat and social media platforms — messaging and social-media enquiries.
  • Coaching, payment and administrative platforms — where necessary to deliver services or maintain records.

These providers may process personal information on my behalf or act as separate controllers for some activities.

I do not sell your personal information.

I may also disclose information where legally required.

6. International Data Transfers

Some of the technology providers I use may process information outside the United Kingdom.

Where international transfers take place, I take appropriate steps to ensure personal information is protected under applicable data-protection law, including using recognised transfer arrangements or safeguards where required.

You can contact me for further information about applicable safeguards.

7. How Long Do I Keep Your Information?

I retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy.

The proposed retention periods are:

  • Unsuccessful or inactive coaching enquiries: normally up to 12 months after the last meaningful contact.
  • Coaching records: during the coaching relationship and normally up to 24 months after it ends, unless a longer period is needed for legal reasons.
  • Financial and accounting records: generally six years, or longer where required by law.
  • Email marketing records: until you unsubscribe or the information is no longer needed, subject to periodic review. Limited suppression records may be retained to respect opt-out requests.

These periods may vary if I must retain information for legal, contractual or dispute-resolution purposes.

8. Cookies and Website Analytics

My website uses technologies that support website functionality and help me understand how visitors use my pages.

This may include information about page visits, traffic sources, interactions, form submissions and device types.

Some strictly necessary technologies do not require consent. Certain limited statistical analytics may also qualify for a legal exception, subject to the required information and opt-out arrangements. Other non-essential technologies, such as advertising trackers, require consent where applicable.

You can contact me to ask about the tracking technologies used on the website or your available choices.

9. How I Protect Your Information

I take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or disclosure.

Access to business records and coaching information is restricted to those who need it for legitimate business purposes.

However, no online service or method of electronic storage can be guaranteed completely secure.

10. Your Data-Protection Rights

Under UK data-protection law, depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information held about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate information.
  • Request deletion of your information.
  • Request restriction of certain processing.
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interests.
  • Receive certain information in a portable format.
  • Withdraw consent where consent is the lawful basis.

You have the right to object to direct marketing at any time.

To exercise your rights, email jason@jasonparkercoaching.co.uk .

You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at www.ico.org.uk if you're unhappy with how your information is handled.

11. Automated Decisions

Coaching applications are personally reviewed. I do not use solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on applicants.

12. Changes to This Policy

I may update this privacy policy to reflect changes to my business, technology providers or legal obligations. The latest version will be published on this website with its updated date.
